C's new 'do

Both our kids have been blessed with a ton of beautiful
hair. And both had their 1st haircuts at around 6 months.
With Bella, we were able to get away with infrequent
trips to the salon as we enjoyed the pig and ponytails.
But with C - COMPLETELY different story.
He could use a haircut every 3 weeks. Above is a before
pic - his last haircut was about 3 weeks ago (and we cut
at least 1 1/2 inches off then)....
By the way, he's enjoying taking apart some
styrofoam we had. That stuff gets everywhere. We
had to use a vaccuum just to get it off of Bella and C.
Our version of 'snow'...

And AFTER
A whole new little boy
Who knew he had such cute
little ears!
He looks so grown up to me now.
He sat still for the most part and
I think he likes not having his
hair in his eyes anymore. We took
off 3 inches this time.

My sweet baby

Bella and C
B also got about 3/12 inches cut off today.
I put them in the bath as soon as we got hom. Their hair
was everywhere! Let's see how long these cuts last.

Fam Pics

Just a few pictures from our 2008 Family Album for your enjoyment. I am so blessed with an incredible husband and loving children... Enjoy! Cristiano now loves to chase his sister around the house and is daddy's shadow. Bella's artwork is amazing (I'll have to post some pics soon) and she is just like dad (reading 3 different books at a time - her favorite series so far... Junie B Jones)

Winter Break

One of C's newest BFF's - ELMO.
This one talks, giggles and receives LOTS of kisses from
our little man. We're glad to see that he can multitask
by caring for Elmo and driving.
Daddy and Bella make our annual gingerbread
house (which I accidentally knocked over a few
times... BUT I did fix it ;0)).
Chicago Sky Rise
Decorated exlusively by our Bella

Why is it that boxes are always the kid's favorite toys?

C mowing the carpet with his new (and very vocal)
vaccuum cleaner. He loves this thing... and LOVES to
help clean the house. I hope his passion for cleaning
continues into his teenage years.

PRESENTS!!!

A very happy little boy with his first
tool bench...

Daddy showing C the ropes...

Sharing is still a lesson in progress...

Bella and Sydney get matching manicures for Christmas
A wonderful day at the park! It was a 75 degree day and we couldn't
help but soak in all the day's goodness. Our day consisted of a
little shopping, playing at the park, frozen yogurt and ending with
watching the stars through our new telescope (compliments of
Santa Claus)

C's new found skill... soccer
(Watch out Uncle Brandon!)

Coloring with sissy is one of C's other new
found skills. Check out the piece of paper behind
him... not bad for 15 months. He also likes to
color the floors and couch (lovely).

C found the spice drawer... and baking soda.
Who me?

Let the festivities begin!

Bella's fall concert at LCS. Our pics didn't turn out
so great, so I guess it's time for a new camera.
The concert included K-2 grades. Bella's on the front
row, left side of the pic wearing a fuchsia shirt.

More blurry pics for your enjoyment

Christmas Train!!!
We enjoyed a night out at Dry Gulch with the
Kemp Family. The line for the train wasn't too bad.
Our church did an incredible job renovating Dry
Gulch. Looking forward to many more trips out
there.

Woot!

Cristiano LOVES sunglasses. Hopefully
someday we can convince him that they
belong on his face and not his neck.

Dinner is served...
On the baby. Our kiddos after dinner.
C has mashed potatoes in his hair (and Bella
probably does too from him flinging it all over
the place). AND he's trying to take all his
clothes off. I'm not surprised...

Family work day - raking leaves!
Don't be fooled by the disenchanted look on
C's face. He LOVED working outside -
so long as he got to use mommy and daddy's
rakes. He got upset when we tried to get him to use
the pint size rake.

Our baby all grows up.
Bella writing sweet love notes to her
family.... very sweet.

Oh Christmas Tree!
Our annual tree trip with the Brisco's. Bella and Syd enjoying a chilly night finding just the right tree to trim.

We're looking forward to this Christmas season and decorating our biggest tree yet (in the background). Bella is such a great big sister and C loves her to pieces.
